Budva
is a town of only 15,000 inhabitants but is the main resort on the Montenegrin
coast. It is the oldest town on the Adriatic Coast and was mentioned
by Sophocles in the 5th century BC. The Budvanska Riviera has a very
diverse landscape with sandy beaches, and coves backed by dramatic cliffs
and mountains.

The
old town of Budva consists of narrow streets and alleys where you can
wander and marvel at this unique architechural monument. The 15th century
walls and fortifications contrast with the homely nature of the houses.
These defenses have a new use as they are used by artists as a backdrop
fro the "Theatre City" festival and the many other special
theatrical and musical events held throughout the summer months.
Budva
is one of the sunniest places on the Adriatic coast with and average
of 332 hours of sunshine in July. This combined with the beaches such
as Slovenska, Mogran, Becici, Rafailovici and Jaz make this an ideal
destination for those who want the combination of sun, sea and sand.

In
the evenings there are many bars, restaurants and clubs for you to relax
in, or maybe you just want to sit near the waters edge and reflect on
the many memories of the day.
