Castle
Zamak is a true example of traditional Montenegrin construction. The
castle is built in rustic style and is mostly made from red Montenegrin
rock.

The
castle is situated at the foot of the Mt Lovcen range. The mountains
are where the Mediterranean and mountain climates meet so that in the
winter it is possible to see snow falling further up the mountain whilst
further down the countryside still benefits from the warmer weather.
Situated only 10km by road from Budva on the coast, it is an ideal location
for everyone.
The
hotel covers a total area of 25000m2 and the surrounding countryside
is very picturesque with several springs of clear water nearby. Walkers
can enjoy the lovely trekking paths through the mountain range leading
up to an altitude of 900m.

Accommodation
in the main hotel is comprised of 36 rooms and apartments with air conditioning,cable
tv, telephone, mini bar and bathroom with bath/shower, wc and basin.
An additional 60 beds are available in the annex of the hotel.

The
whole of the interior of the hotel is furnished to a high standard using
traditional furniture where possible. There are original art works,
painitngs, stained glass and engravings by both local and foreign artists.

Within
the hotel there is a tavern of traditional style, based on the architecture
of old Orthodox buildings, which were made of timber and red Montenegrin
stone. the tavern offers traditional national cuisine, as well as Italian
cuisine and a choice of international dishes.

There
is also a comfortable lounge, bar and tv room. Other facilities include
a turkish bath, a sauna, and a gym. A swimming pool (25m x 9m) is planned
for the near future.

The
hotel is completely secured with alarm, video and fire alarm systems.
The car park also has video supervision.
