Herceg-Novi
is a town of 28000 inhabitants and is located close to the entrance
to the Bay of Kotor. There is a nice mixture of Romanesque, Byzantine,
and Oriental styles to the town. Herceg-Novi is one of the few south
facing towns on the Adriatic and due to its location is one of the warmest
towns in the Adriatic Basin.
There
is a seven kilometre long promenade called Pet Danica connecting Herceg-Novi
with Igalo the health tourism centre.
