in Kotor
Kotor is a town of 23000 inhabitants
and is situated in the Boka Kotorska Bay. For centuries it has been
a maritime and cultural centre and also a crossroads of trading routes
with a strong influence of the Venetian Republic. The old town is surrounded
by defensive walls built in the time of Byzantine rule. Kotor is included
on the UNESCO "World natural and cultural heritage list" and
it has many monuments and buildings of medieval architecture. Prcanj
is the home place of the famous Bokelian warriors of ancient times and
more recently in the 17th century its sailors ran the first postal route
