Tivat
is a town of 12000 inhabitants and is built at the base of Mount Vrmac.
The town dates back to the 14th century and is where in the middle ages
that the noblemen built large castles and summerhouses. the Tivat museum
is housed in one such summerhouse.
The
airport of Tivat is 4km away but there are few flights arriving and
departing these days so the associated noise does not impose itself
on the town and surrounding area.
